What Is This Service?

This is an in-person Lifestyle Medicine group preventive counseling event sponsored by Atrium Health.

The session is designed to help participants build healthy habits, improve overall wellness, and lower the risk of developing chronic disease.

This event is also an opportunity for participants to share experiences, meet new people, build friendships, and have fun in a familiar community setting.

How to Register

Register through this event page by selecting the date and location you would like to attend.

After registering, the team will review your information and add you to the Lifestyle Medicine schedule. You may be able to view basic details of the visit in your MyAtriumHealth portal. Full event instructions will be sent to the email you used to register.

Before the Event

Prior to the webinar, you will be asked to complete an eCheck-In through MyAtriumHealth, similar to other healthcare appointments.

These forms help our team prepare for the session, complete required documentation, and better understand participant interests and goals.

Please review the location carefully and arrive before 6:00 p.m. so you have time to check in before the preventive counseling session begins.

What to Expect During the Webinar

Provider-Led Preventive Group Counseling: 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.

The event begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. with a 30-minute preventive group counseling session. Participants will gather in person at the church while a Lifestyle Medicine clinician leads the session through a live video connection.

The session will focus on a preventive health topic and provide simple, realistic actions that participants can apply in everyday life. Participants will also learn about Lifestyle Medicine services available through Atrium Health and how those services may support their health goals.

Questions and respectful participation are encouraged. Please arrive before 6:00 p.m. and remain for the full counseling session.

Food and Activities: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

After the counseling session, participants can enjoy free food, take part in fun activities, meet members of the Lifestyle Medicine team, and connect with others in the community.

Documentation and Follow-Up

Participation will be documented in the Atrium Health medical record.

After the webinar, an After Visit Summary (AVS) will be available through MyAtriumHealth. The AVS may include educational materials, handouts, and resources reviewed during the webinar.
