The Multiple Sclerosis & Autoimmune Neurology Center presents the Patient Wellness Education Series.
Overview
A structured, community‑facing program to empower individuals living with MS and other autoimmune neurologic conditions. The program focuses on proven, proactive, lifestyle‑based strategies that support long‑term brain health, reduce risk, and enhance overall wellness.
Purpose & Vision
This FREE series aims to empower patients to take control of their health by teaching how positive daily habits can influence the course of their disease. The series blends evidence‑based education with interactive, hands‑on activities to help participants build practical, sustainable tools to improve their sleep, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, mental health, chronic‑disease control and cognitive resilience.

Speakers
Donna Graves, MD
Dr. Graves is board certified in psychiatry and neurology. She specializes in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology, including neuromyelitis optica, optic neuritis, neurosarcoidosis and acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). Dr. Graves serves as the academic chair of the Department of Neurology and section chief for the Multiple Sclerosis & Autoimmune Neurology Center at Atrium Health.
She is currently involved in clinical research on multiple sclerosis and neuromyelitis optica. Dr. Graves strives to minimize the impact of diseases on her patients’ lives.
She earned her medical degree at Mercer University and completed her residency at Saint Louis University. She followed that with a fellowship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
