Produce Prescription Program (Charlotte)

Full Event Description

The Healthy Futures Produce Prescription Program supports families experiencing food insecurity by providing a monthly box of fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs. Eligible families receive one box per month for three months as part of their Healthy Futures care plan.

Pickups take place at the Healthy Futures clinic on scheduled dates. Families will receive reminders and a brief overview of pickup instructions before each distribution.

What to expect

• Monthly clinic pickup (3 total)

• Fresh produce and eggs (contents vary by month)

• Quick pickup process with staff support

• Optional nutrition tips and recipes to help use items at home

• This program is available to eligible Healthy Futures patients identified by the care team.

• Please arrive during your scheduled pickup window and check in with clinic staff.

• If you cannot attend your pickup, contact the clinic as soon as possible to discuss options.
