Join the monthly group to gain insight on how to help you children and adolescents between the ages of 5-17, manage your cancer diagnosis. Gain insight into how much to share with your children, how to answer questions, and learn how to keep them emotionally safe as you navigate treatment.
Speakers
Thais Yeon, MSW, LCSW
My name is Thais, and I am a seasoned Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience helping individuals overcome life's adversities. I strive to provide a safe space within the context of the therapeutic relationship to help each person come to a better understanding of themselves. As well as, navigate difficulties in relationships, or process traumatic life events.
I am person centered, and take a holistic approach to aid in the healing, in the present, past and future challenges.
I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, career exploitation, and life transitions.
My theoretical lenses are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person in environment, looking at the dynamics of relationships and helping individual's improve their well-being.
