Breastfeeding is a natural process with incredible benefits, but understanding how it works can make all the difference for new parents. From learning the basics of how to breastfeed and recognizing when your baby is hungry, to ensuring your little one is getting enough milk, each step plays a vital role in a successful breastfeeding journey. With the right knowledge and support, breastfeeding can become a deeply rewarding experience for both parent and baby.

Speakers

Suzanne Brett BSN, RN, CLC (She / Her)

Breastfeeding with Suzanne: Science, Support & a Splash of Sass 🍼🎶🐴

Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the world—but let’s be real, *that doesn’t mean it always feels natural. That’s where Suzanne, a Registered Nurse (RN-BSN) and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), comes in. With nearly two decades of experience in OB, pediatrics, and NICU care, she’s here to help you navigate nursing with expertise, encouragement, and a dash of humor.

Graduating from Georgia College with her BSN in 2007 and earning her CLC certification in 2024, Suzanne has spent her career supporting parents through the beautiful and sometimes bewildering world of newborn care.

But wait—she’s not just your go-to lactation expert. She’s also a wife, mom of two, musician, and equestrian (because why settle for one passion when you can juggle them all?).

Her approach? Real talk, real solutions, and real support. Whether you’re learning the basics, troubleshooting latch issues, or just need reassurance that you’re doing great, Suzanne is here to guide you—with knowledge, warmth, and maybe even a little laugh along the way. 💕👶

Come join her class and get ready to feel empowered, informed, and confident in your breastfeeding journey!
