Join us for a relaxing series that helps you feel more balanced, grounded, and refreshed. Each session gives you a different way to relax and connect with yourself.


Healing Touch- Simple, gentle techniques that help your body relax and feel calmer.

Spiritual Care- Time to think, find meaning, and feel more centered.

Meditation and Mindfulness- Guided breathing and calming exercises to help you slow down and focus.

Expressive Art- Creative activities that help you express your feelings and reduce stress.

Music for Healing- Music that helps lift your mood and bring peace to your mind and spirit.


Take a moment to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with yourself.

    Meet outside of the Genetic Counseling space on the 2nd floor of Levine Cancer Institute, Building 1 (take a left out of the elevator bay).

  • Parking information

    Parking is available in the Yellow Parking Deck next to Levine Cancer Institute, but since parking can get crowded, we encourage you to use the valet parking available in front of LCI Building 1 and Building 2.

Sandra Boozer

Healing Touch Therapist

Gregory Cline, MDiv, BCC,MBA

Rev Gregory Cline is an ordained interfaith minister and board-certified chaplain. He serves as the staff chaplain for the Levine Cancer Institute. Greg has studied many religions and finds joy in speaking with patients, their families and colleagues about their spirituality, or lack thereof, and what makes meaning to them. Greg has studied Buddhism and meditation and feels meditation of any form is beneficial for self-care. In his spare time, Greg enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels.

Maddie DePriest

Maddie DePriest is a board-certified, neurologic music therapist who is driven by her passion to utilize music as a means of supporting patients, care partners, and teammates throughout their healing process. As a music therapist with Levine Cancer, Maddie specializes in adult oncology, neurorehabilitation, and mental health. Maddie is a provider grounded in trauma-informed philosophy, working to promote self-empowerment and healing for the whole person through the use of individualized, musical interventions. When Maddie is not songwriting or engaging in music itself, she is spending quality time with her family, friends, and further exploring the greater Charlotte area.

Dean Quick, MT-BC

Board certified in music therapy since 2010, Dean Quick specializes in treating adults in oncology and individuals with mental health concerns (specifically those with eating disorders and personality disorders). Dean is a music therapist and the Music Therapy Internship Director with Levine Cancer in Charlotte and an Advanced GIM Trainee in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music. Using clinical music therapy interventions and music-based psychological depth work, Dean utilizes music to assist individuals in living a life empowered by music. When not creating music, Dean enjoys spending time with his family and skateboarding.

Andrea Sowle

Andrea is and artist-in-residence at Levine Cancer Institute, serving at the Cabarrus and University locations, and through virtual classes. She encourages patients, staff, care-partners, and community members to use the creative process as therapy and a means of social connection. Andrea also enjoys gardening and spending time with family and friends around a campfire and playing games.

Susan Yaguda

Susan Yaguda has been a RN for more than 40 years with special interest in empowering others to be actively involved in their health and well-being and engage in healthy lifestyle activities that feed the mind, body and soul. She is the RN Manager in the Department of Supportive Oncology for Integrative Oncology, Cancer Survivorship and Senior Oncology Sections.
