Why would I want to connect my health information to my health apps?
Many health apps – such as fitness trackers, nutrition trackers, health coaching, pregnancy trackers and more – ask for personal health information. By connecting your MyAtriumHealth account to your other health apps, it’s easy to view your health information and make decisions in one place.
Does this replace using MyAtriumHealth?
No. You’ll continue to use MyAtriumHealth as you do today, including for tasks such as:
Will all the information in my medical record be brought into my connected health management apps?
All health management apps are different, and it depends on the app which medical information it wants to connect to. Generally, health management apps ask to connect to key information, such as vitals and medications. Learn more about sharing your information with health apps.
Do I have to connect my medical record to my health management apps?
No, you don’t have to connect your medical record to your health apps. It’s completely up to you and is offered as just another way to manage your health on your terms. Visit open.epic.com and code.cerner.com to learn more about interoperability, and the developer tools available to you for connecting to MyAtriumHealth.
You may choose to use other services provided by third parties in conjunction with your use of MyAtriumHealth (‘third party applications”). Any links to third party applications are provided for your convenience only. Your use of third party applications to store and access your information is at your sole risk and discretion and Atrium Health has no control over the content of third party applications or the information that they store.
