Atrium Health Behavioral Health Charlotte, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center, is the only dedicated psychiatric emergency department in the region, and provides treatment across a broad continuum of inpatient and outpatient services. Our center is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Visiting Hours for Adult Patients and Visiting Hours for Pediatric Patients

Adults - No visitors under age 12 permitted
Monday - Friday: 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Weekends & Holidays: 1 to 3 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m.

Children
Monday - Friday: 6 to 7 p.m.
Weekends & Holidays: 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m.
