Visitor Information

Visitors are an important part of the care of our patients. To allow our patients to rest and be safe, all visitors must follow these guidelines:

  • Hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of germs. Visitors are encouraged to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before and after visiting a patient.
  • Wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth at all times (except while eating in select areas).
  • There is no smoking on facility property.
  • Maintain a quiet, calming environment for patients. Please refrain from any loud noises while at a facility.
  • Do not visit if you have a contagious disease (cold, sore throat, pink eye, flu, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained skin rash or open draining sores).
  • Look for “no visiting” and precaution signs before entering a patient room.
  • You are responsible for following hospital rules and regulations affecting patient care. If asked, please step out of the room while we are taking care of the patient.
  • You are responsible for being respectful of the property of other persons and of others in the waiting rooms.
  • If a family member will be staying with you, please ask your nurse about securing a visitor badge. All visitors who stay beyond regular visiting hours must wear a visitor badge.
