The main entrance at Atrium Health Stanly is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Visitors may leave through this entrance until 11:30 p.m. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours.
Open visitation.
New fathers and siblings may visit in maternity at any time. Open visitation is from noon until 8:00 p.m. For the safety of our babies, this unit is locked at all times. Visitors must communicate with the nurses' station through the intercom system. Patients in observation or triage are allowed two guests at any time, patients in labor are allowed five guests at any time and three guests are allowed during a delivery. When not in a patient room, we ask that visitors remain in the lobby area.
General visiting hours begin at 8 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. Visits should be limited to two people at a time. Due to patient treatments and other needs for privacy, the nurse may limit visiting or ask visitors to remain in the waiting room temporarily.
Two visitors per patient are allowed in the patient care area. All other visitors are welcome to remain in the lobby. Exceptions for special circumstances may be discussed with a nurse. Due to the nature of emergency care, there may be times when visitation is not allowed or guests are asked to leave the patient care area.
Individuals 18 years of age or older may visit from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. daily.
