Visitors are an important part of the care of our patients. To allow our patients to rest and be safe, all visitors must follow these guidelines:
- Please wash your hands before visiting.
- In general care areas, visitors must be at least 12 years old.
- Children 12 and younger are allowed to visit as long as they do not have an infectious disease and are accompanied by an adult.
- Please be quiet. No loud noises.
- Do not visit if you have a cold, sore throat, pink eye, flu, vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained skin rash, open draining sores or any contagious disease.
- Look for no visiting and precaution signs before entering the room.
- If asked, please step out of the room while we care for the patient.
- Allergic sensitivity to latex products is a concern to many staff and patients. To help maintain a latex-safe environment, we ask visitors to include only mylar balloons when bringing a balloon bouquet to family and friends.
