At NorthEast Critical Care Associates, located in Concord, NC, our board-certified intensive care physicians provide prompt, high quality medical care. Working collaboratively with your primary care physician, we work to find the best treatment options and make arrangements for appropriate follow-up care.
Our team of well-trained doctors are always on staff to care for adults 18 years and older while in the hospital. NorthEast Critical Care physicians care for your health needs while in the intensive care unit and release all records to your primary care physician. Once you are home, patients are encouraged to follow up with their primary care physician for any healthcare needs that may arise.
If you need special care after leaving the hospital, our home healthcare department, Atrium Health At Home, can provide physical, occupational and speech therapy services either in your home or in several outpatient facilities in our area.
In addition, terminally ill patients and their families may need the extra care and support that Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County can provide.
The physicians of NorthEast Critical Care are based at Atrium Health Cabarrus full-time and make rounds according to patient needs. Doctors are always available when you need them and can provide prompt care and scheduling of tests and treatments.
We encourage communication with the family. Your inpatient physician will make rounds and can discuss your plan of care at that time. Also, for the convenience of your family, a specified conference time can be scheduled.
Your NorthEast Critical Care physician will refer you to the appropriate specialist if necessary. We will communicate directly with your primary care physician about your care and any necessary follow up care.
