Hsih-Te (Paul) Yang is a senior oncology bioinformatician who trained as a postdoctoral fellow for computational stem cell biology at the National Institutes of Health. He then trained as an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) scientist for flu vaccine genomics in the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research. Following his time at ORISE, Yang became an assistant professor at National Cheng Kung University and further advanced his career as a research scientist for cancer genomics at the Northwell Feinstein Institutes. He has since joined LCI’s Department of Biostatistics and Data Sciences, where he leads the Bioinformatics team in their collaboration with physicians, laboratory scientists and biostatisticians to revolutionize therapeutics and biomarker discovery to further precision oncology at LCI.
