The Cardinal Award

An Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation award, the Cardinal Award is presented each quarter to recognize our healthcare technicians. Healthcare technicians can be nominated by patients, families or teammates. The Cardinal Award symbolizes compassion, ability, responsibility, dedication, integrity, nobility, altruism and loyalty. The Daisy Award

Jump Start Program


Carolinas Rehabilitation Nursing's Jump Start program offers a unique and innovative onboarding for new graduate nurse residency.

Each new graduate will have the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors, participate in hands-on simulations, and attend educational sessions on various topics related to rehab nursing. Additionally, hands on exposure to diverse rehab diagnoses and program management teams within our setting, such as stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, amputee, and orthopedic programs. Our goal is to ignite your passion for rehab nursing and to help you find your best fit within our specialty. We are confident that our residency program will provide you with the skills, knowledge, and support you need to succeed in your new career.
