Amanda DeCrow is a licensed clinical psychologist who holds a doctoral degree. She practices as a pediatric neuropsychologist. She performs neuropsychological evaluations for patients ages 3 to 18 with conditions that affect the central nervous system (CNS).
Most of DeCrow’s patients have epilepsy, but she also evaluates the cognitive and behavioral functioning of children with a wide array of disorders and diseases that cause CNS dysfunction.
She received her doctorate at the University of Mississippi. She completed a predoctoral internship at Brown University and a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
DeCrow is currently involved in a multi-site research group that is obtaining and analyzing neuropsychological test results from epilepsy patients prior to and following epilepsy surgery. This data will provide useful information about the outcomes of epilepsy surgery in children across multiple sites in the US.
