Dr. Lanier is board certified in pediatrics. She specializes in the management of acute and chronic illnesses in children.
She knew as a teen she wanted to study medicine, and was drawn to the unique doctor-patient-family relationship in pediatrics. With a whole child approach to care, she values the challenge of engaging children and teens while also relating to their parents.
Dr. Lanier is the medical director of Atrium Health Levine Children's Perspective Pediatrics. She has been awarded Pediatrician of the Year from Atrium Health Pineville and named a Top Doctor by Charlotte, SouthPark and Business North Carolina magazines. CharlotteSmartyPants.com awarded her with the Smarty Award for Best Pediatrician.
She received her medical degree at West Virginia University and completed residency at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center.
She is married with 2 sons. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, fashion, travel and trips to her family’s cattle farm in West Virginia. Her non-profit activities include serving on the board of Together We Feed and WARD’S Foundation.
