I am passionate about partnering with families to make informed decisions that best support each child’s health and well‑being, especially during meaningful and vulnerable moments in their lives.
I value involving children in their care using age‑appropriate approaches – from play‑based engagement with younger patients to creating space for adolescents to express their concerns and actively participate in decision‑making. I understand that clinic visits can feel intimidating for children, and I strive to create a positive, engaging experience so they leave feeling confident, reassured, and brave for their next visit.
I am a board‑certified pediatric nurse practitioner with experience in maternal, neonatal and pediatric care. My career has been shaped by a strong foundation in both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care.
I began my nursing career in 2012 as a labor and delivery nurse, supporting mothers and newborns during childbirth. I spent more than eight years in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where I provided specialized, family‑centered care to critically ill infants. My work in high‑acuity neonatal settings continues to guide my evidence‑based, compassionate approach, and I am dedicated to building lasting relationships with families while helping patients reach their healthiest potential.
My clinical interests focus on:
- preventive care
- chronic disease management
- supporting healthy growth and development across childhood
I hold a master’s degree in nursing with a minor in child development.
Outside of work, I am the proud mother of two amazing boys and a sweet rescue pup named Ellie. I have been happily married for over 10 years to my husband, whom I met at Florida State University. My family and I enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking, trying new restaurants and traveling. In my free time, I also enjoy golfing, baking, crocheting and thrifting.
