Morford is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a specialty in neurology. She has a clinical interest in treating patients who have had a stroke.
In nursing school, Morford had several neurology patients in her clinical rotations. She always had an interest in the brain, but once she started working with patients who had neurological injuries, she realized how fascinating the brain and nervous system can be. She feels it’s an exciting time to work in neurology, as the field is constantly advancing.
Morford received her master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
She enjoys spending time outside of work with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs, camping and hiking. She enjoys traveling to new places and trying local cuisine. She also likes reading historical fiction, personal development books and listening to true crime podcasts.
