Dr. Dodds is board certified in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.
She has a special interest in depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, borderline personality disorder and perinatal psychiatry.
She is the medical director at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center. She was a finalist for the Atrium Health Teal Acorn Award and the Pinnacle Award.
She received her medical degree at the University of South Carolina and completed her residency and fellowship at the William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute.
Dr. Dodds has received several research grants from the Fullerton Foundation for Perinatal Psychiatry Services and from the Duke Endowment for Perinatal Substance Abuse Treatment.
She has always been curious about the human mind and feels it’s a great privilege to share in those moments and help patients navigate the stresses of life.
