Dr. Kammari is board certified in internal medicine with a specialty in inpatient hospital care.
He received his medical degree at Osmania Medical College and completed residency at Wayne State University.
Dr. Kammari has participated in research studies on numerous topics, including the yield of computed tomography pulmonary angiogram (a CT scan that looks for blood clots in the lungs) in cancer patients suspected to have pulmonary embolism; co-infection of influenza A and COVID-19; hypercalcemia (too much calcium in the body) as the initial manifestation of lymphoma; association of autoimmune Hashimoto's thyroiditis with systemic lupus erythematosus and a multi-disciplinary approach to the impact of COVID-19 on physician daily workflow.
When not working, Dr. Kammari enjoys spending time with his wife and son. Together, they love to travel and experience different cuisines.
