Dr. Pettrey is dual-board certified in internal medicine psychiatry. After completing her internal medicine rotation with several dual-boarded attendings, she decided to pursue multiple board certifications to balance her two passions and provide holistic care to her patients.
She is interested in the bridge between medicine and psychiatry, focusing on delirium, complex medical comorbidity in psychiatric patients and post-intensive care syndrome (PICS).
Dr. Pettrey received her medical degree at West Virginia University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors as much as possible. She also enjoys reading, particularly nonfiction and memoirs on various subjects. Dr. Pettrey also watches cooking shows on TV and cooks anything and everything. She loves traveling to different places and experiencing the food, life, and adventures available there.
