Biography
"I do my job every day to try to improve the lives of my patients. I focus on their goals and aspirations while trying to guide them to a healthier life that will allow them to achieve these goals."
Dr. Davis is board certified in internal medicine. He specializes in helping patients with multiple complex chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, chronic kidney disease and rheumatologic disease.
He is the assistant specialty medical director of internal medicine at Atrium Health West Region and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Davis enjoys problem solving, building long-term relationships with patients and taking care of the whole patient by managing and coordinating the care of multiple disease states and chronic conditions.
He chose internal medicine because it’s a specialty that allows a physician to manage the complex interactions of all of a patient's health conditions while also focusing on wellness and prevention. He has a passion for science and helping others and feels medicine is one of the few career fields that combine both.
He received his medical degree at Wake Forest University and completed his residency at Wright-Patterson Medical Center.
Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 grown children. He has a passion for the outdoors, hiking, camping, working on their family cattle farm in the mountains and exploring the North Carolina coast. He enjoys history and reading both historical fiction and non-fiction books.
