Biography
“I believe I was born with a gift to heal. Sometimes healing is just listening, and other times it is prescribing advanced therapies. Family medicine allows me to provide care at every level of life as I strive to find a way to minimize the impact of illness.”
Diane Boicourt is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who focuses on urgent care for patients of all ages. She provides stitches, incision and drainage procedures, nail care, orifice foreign body removals, subcutaneous foreign body removals, epistaxis (nosebleed) control, splinting, casting and other procedures.
She believes even when an illness isn’t fully curable, healing can occur and lead to an improved quality of life. She works to stay current on best practices.
Boicourt received her master’s degree in nursing at South University.
She is married with 6 adult children and several grandchildren. Boicourt is an avid deer hunter who enjoys spending as much time as possible in the woods or around a campfire while watching the stars. Other hobbies include cooking with her husband, reading, gardening, beekeeping and listening to live music.
