Wintering is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She specializes in children’s cardiology, cardiac surgery and heart transplants.
She is the Chief Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital Pediatric Cardiac Division. She has been a finalist for an Atrium Health Advanced Practice Provider of the Year award, and has been recognized as a Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute APP of the Year.
Wintering received her master’s in nursing and pediatric critical care training at the University of Pennsylvania.
She is married with 8 children. She enjoys all the sports and other activities that come with a large family, while also making time for quiet moments. She is a foodie and loves fine dining.
