Hapeman is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in pediatrics, acute care medicine and urgent care medicine.
She started her career as a certified child life specialist, where she learned to tailor developmentally appropriate and atraumatic care (an approach causing minimal psychological damage) to her youngest patients. When she started practicing medicine, she believed pediatrics was her calling.
She completed her physician assistant training at Francis Marion University.
Outside of work, Hapeman enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their son. They enjoy walks, trips to the playground and taking their pup to the dog park. They also like to travel, particularly to Hawaii and Disney World.
