Biography

Dr. Cleveland is board certified in pediatrics and clinical informatics. He specializes in general pediatrics from birth to age 21.
His primary role at Atrium Health is as a leader in clinical informatics. He is the chief medical information officer for Atrium Health Information and Analytic Services. In addition to English, he speaks Spanish.
Dr. Cleveland has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine for multiple years. He was awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient Centered Medical Home Program.
He is passionate about improving the way doctors, advanced practice providers (APPs) and clinical teammates use technology to care for patients, improve quality outcomes, facilitate patient communication and lessen the amount of time providers must invest in non-direct patient care.
Dr. Cleveland received his medical degree at Wake Forest University and completed a residency at the University of California.
He and his wife, Jennifer, have 6 children. He is an elder in their church, and he loves to garden, fix antique vehicles and do woodworking. He is also a hang gliding pilot.
