Dr. Steele is board certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry. She specializes in child and adolescent depression, anxiety, OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), ODD (oppositional defiant disorder), DMDD (disruptive mood dysregulation disorder) and BPAD (bipolar affective disorder).
She is passionate about treating patients holistically by looking at their minds, bodies and spirits. Dr. Steele enjoys working with younger patients because it allows her to intervene during critical times of their development.
She received her degree in osteopathic medicine at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a residency and fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina.
In her spare time, Dr. Steele enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 children and their dog. They enjoy being outside at the beach or in the mountains.
