Dr. Rivadeneira Alava is board certified in general psychiatry. He has a special interest in rural psychiatry that serves areas lacking mental health resources. He focuses on emergency medicine.
He values each opportunity to provide compassionate care, support and understanding to people during times of great distress.
Dr. Rivadeneira Alava received his medical degree at the Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. He completed residency at the University of New Mexico. He is fluent in Spanish.
