Dr. Dickerson is board certified in pediatric medicine and specializes in care for children in the hospital.
She received her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Belhaven University and her medical degree at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Dickerson is involved in research on quality improvement in medicine.
As a medical student and intern, she was initially drawn to the fast pace of pediatric emergency medicine. But as she spent more time with patients admitted to the hospital and their families, she enthusiastically chose her path to pediatric hospital medicine.
When not working, Dr. Dickerson enjoys spending time with her wife, traveling, camping, hiking and kayaking. Her other hobbies include cooking (her specialty is Cajun food) and woodworking.
