Dr. McKinsey is board certified in psychiatry and specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He is chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and vice president of the medical staff at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He is also the medical director of the Inpatient Senior Behavioral Unit and Outpatient Services at Atrium Health Cabarrus.
He received his medical degree and completed both his residency and fellowship at the University of Florida.
Dr. McKinsey is married and has 2 children. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, baking and taking trips with his 3 dogs.
