Muldoon is a board-certified physician assistant and athletic trainer. She specializes in orthopedic surgery, including orthopedic trauma and bone health.
She serves as a preceptor for the Wingate University Physician Assistant Program and the Pfeiffer University Physician Assistant Program. She is the fracture liaison service coordinator for the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedic Trauma Cabarrus.
Muldoon has experience working in trauma and emergency medicine, and she is drawn to taking care of patients in stressful situations. She loves guiding patients through surgical or non-surgical treatments and following them through to the resolution of their injuries. She also enjoys taking care of patients of all ages, in a variety of settings.
Muldoon received her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Carolina Honors College, graduating magna cum laude and received her physician assistant training at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her significant other, traveling as far and as often as they can. They like watching football, renovating their house, going to the U.S. National Whitewater Center and spending time with friends, family and their dog.
