“Addiction, whether it’s drugs or alcohol, is a life-long disease. It’s my job to give patients the best resources so they can succeed and maintain their sobriety. I believe that with therapy and medication, patients can succeed.”
Cohen is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in addiction medicine, including alcohol use disorder, opiate use disorder and other substance abuse. She also has experience in psychiatry treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
She has always had the desire to help others and feels treating patients with substance abuse problems, while challenging, is very rewarding.
Cohen received her physician assistant training at South University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her boyfriend and black labrador, Cash. She also loves traveling, hiking, kayaking, playing soccer and watching football.
