Biography

“I want to help kids feel better and to be a bright spot in their clinic visit or hospital stay. My goal is to always explain things clearly, so kids and their parents understand what is going on and what the next steps will be in their treatment.”

Dr. Six is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist with a board certification in pediatrics.

She received her undergraduate degree in microbiology, with a concentration in biomedicine, at Clemson University and her medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. She received a master’s degree in public health, with a concentration in outcomes research, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Outside of work, Dr. Six likes to spend time with her husband, Tim, and their 2 children, Lucy and Teddy. They enjoy going on walks together, playing ball outside and spending time at the pool during the summer. She and her husband love to cook, so they spend a lot of weekends meal prepping.
