“I feel honored to have the opportunity to help cancer survivors and their families make positive lifestyle changes, so they can not only survive but thrive!”
Martin is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in hematology-oncology (cancer and blood disorders). She has worked in pediatric oncology for over 30 years.
She is the director of Survivorship at Levine Children's Cancer & Blood Disorders, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center. For Martin, the ability to establish professional yet meaningful relationships with patients and families throughout their journeys has been particularly rewarding.
She received her master’s degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Martin has a wonderful husband, and together they are raising a silly, artistic and loving son. Weather permitting, they love the outdoors and hiking local mountain trails. They also enjoy the North Carolina coast and simply breathing in the fresh ocean air.
