Biography
“Urology is a fascinating and complex specialty. Practicing medicine is about giving back, and working in pediatrics allows me to give back to our most vulnerable patients.”
Dr. Williams is board certified in urology. He holds a certificate of added qualification in pediatric urology with a focus on treating cancer and congenital conditions.
Dr. Williams is surgeon-in-chief and chief of pediatric urology at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital. He has been named a Top Doctor by Charlotte magazine for multiple years.
During his medical school training, he became interested in embryology, the study of fetal development. He devoted himself to understanding and treating the abnormalities that can occur.
Dr. Williams received his medical degree at Augusta University. He completed a residency and a fellowship at the University of Tennessee.
He is married with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. An avid golfer, in his free time, he also enjoys cooking and reading, especially biographies and books about presidential history.
