Mary Dore is a board-certified physician assistant who specializes in primary care and treating a wide variety of conditions.
Dore is a highly trained athlete who loves taking care of active patients and teaching, guiding and counseling people on the benefits of staying active for their lifetime. At work, she is a team player who enjoys lifting up her colleagues.
Dore received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her master’s degree in exercise science at the University of Arizona. She received her Master of Public Health (MPH) and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University.
Dore is a competitive master swimmer with the U.S. Masters Swimming organization. She has competed in several regional swim meets across the U.S. and at the national level. Dore was a Division I scholarship athlete on the cross country and track and field teams at The University of Arizona.
She currently teaches yoga and deep stretch classes at the greater YMCAs of Charlotte. Dore is happily married, and her husband is a certified athletic trainer and administrative physical therapist. The couple are dog lovers, and they have 2 beautiful German shepherds.
