In-person visits onlyDr. Hartzell is board certified in psychiatry and specializes in psychiatric crisis, depression, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse and PTSD. He serves as the medical director of Behavioral Health Regional Facilities and an emergency psychiatrist at Atrium Health Behavioral Health, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center.
He received his medical degree and completed his residency at West Virginia University.
