Biography

“I am very inspired by the resilience and strength of children who have been in the most difficult situations imaginable. It is an honor to meet them and work with them.”

Dr. Sutsko is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children and adolescents. She serves on a team of psychologists at Teen Health Connection who complete independent psychological assessments (IPA) with youth who have entered custody of the county.

She has a special interest in the mental health vulnerabilities of high socioeconomic status families, adolescent mental health, mindfulness and meditation, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.

From a young age, she was curious about why people behave the way they do and the dynamics of personality and mood. She enjoys interacting with patients and using her natural curiosity and critical thinking to enable others to learn something they may not have known about themselves.

Dr. Sutsko received her doctorate at Widener University, the oldest PsyD program in the country. She received very intensive training in providing intervention and assessment.

She is married to a doctor and they have 3 children. She spends her time as a sports mom, planning parties, dreaming of travel and visiting with extended family. She loves food, going to new restaurants, yoga, hiking and just being outdoors.
