Natalie Toney is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). Psychiatric conditions she treats include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic and personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders and substance-related disorders.
Her work is meaningful to her because almost everyone struggles with their mental health at least once in their life, and many people don’t receive the care they need. She strives to be an advocate for her patients.
Toney is the recipient of a DAISY award for extraordinary nurses.
She received her master’s degree in nursing with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) specialization at East Carolina University.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, biking, swimming and rock climbing with her husband, son and daughter. She also loves spending time with her “fur children.” Her favorite books to read are historical fiction, fantasy and contemporary genres.
