Dr. Burkett is board certified in neurology. She has a clinical interest in treating patients who experience strokes.

Dr. Burkett received her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residency at Georgetown University. She completed a vascular neurology clinical fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.
