“I wanted to be a nurse to help care for people at their most vulnerable. I chose anesthesia as my specialty so I could comfort patients as they go off to sleep and comfort them as they wake up.”

Kennedy is a board-certified registered nurse anesthetist. She specializes in treating surgical patients.

She received her master’s degree in nursing at Western Carolina University and her master’s degree in nurse anesthesia at the University of South Carolina.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her significant other and her 2 children. She likes gardening, boating and reading paranormal, fantasy and non-fiction books.
