Treats All AgesDr. Delara is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Dr. Delara has received several awards, including Top 10% of Reviewers from Obstetrics & Gynecology (the Green Journal) and the Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL).
Additionally, she received the Jerome J. Hoffman Award for Best Paper by a Physician in Training at the AAGL 49th Global Conference on Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
Dr. Delara received her bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in English at the University of Hawaii. She completed a post-baccalaureate program in special sciences at the University of Pennsylvania before receiving her medical degree at the University of Hawaii. She completed residency in OB/GYN at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the Mayo Clinic.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Jared, their children, Parker and Avery, and their 3 rescue dogs, Morgan, Bailey and BJ.
