Dr. Dixon is board certified in both pediatrics and adolescent medicine. She is a director of adolescent medicine with Atrium Health Levine Children’s.
She has a special interest in reproductive health, including IUD placements and medication management for depression and anxiety in adolescents and young adults. Dr. Dixon is currently researching both reproductive and mental health care issues.
Dr. Dixon earned her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Children’s National Hospital. She then followed that with a fellowship in adolescent medicine at Johns Hopkins University.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys reading, biking and connecting with her friends.
