Kausch is a board-certified neonatal nurse practitioner. She specializes in caring for sick and preterm infants. She was named Preceptor of the Year at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital.
She received her master’s degree in nursing at The Ohio State University.
Kausch is married and has 2 dogs – a shepherd mix and a Doberman mix. When she’s not working, she enjoys reading popular fiction, science fiction and mysteries. She loves to garden, planting both vegetables and flowers. She also enjoys hiking and going to festivals.
