Dr. Bailey is board certified in pediatrics. He has special interests in the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD or ADD), asthma and allergies. He also has a clinical interest in breastfeeding and neonatal circumcision. He is chief of pediatrics at Atrium Health Troy Medical Services.
Dr. Bailey received his medical degree at New York Medical College and completed a residency at Rutgers University. He speaks both English and Spanish.
Earlier in his medical career, he served as foreign missions pastor with his church, leading more than 20 faith-based medical mission teams to Mexico, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Panama.
Dr. Bailey spends most of his free time with his family. He and his wife have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. They love to travel and are never far from a beach. He is an avid home cook. He hosts his own Facebook page, where he shares food tips and recipe ideas. Bailey is actively lobbying to lure Wegmans supermarket to expand its North Carolina locations
