Catherine Trent, MSN, RN, LCCE, CHSE

Simulation Service Line Educator

Catherine Trent has worked in maternal and child health to include public health, high-risk obstetrics, labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal care. Throughout her healthcare career, she has held leadership roles working in both patient and staff education. Catherine joined Carolinas Simulation Center in 2018, and in 2020, she became a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator. She is also a certified instructor in basic life support and neonatal resuscitation. Her simulation projects include assisting in development of a 3-year rotating pediatric residency simulation curriculum, ongoing development of the obstetrics and gynecology residency simulation curriculum, process improvement, and implementation of simulation and faculty mentoring.
