Lisa Corcoran, BS, RLATg
Before joining Carolinas Simulation Center (CSC) in 2016, Lisa spent the first 11 years of her Atrium Health career in the department of comparative medicine as a laboratory animal technologist where she became familiar with medical terminology and instrumentation as well as the surgical aspect of simulation. At CSC, she began as a simulation operations specialist, focusing on labs at Carolinas Surgical Skills Center (CSSC), located at Atrium Health – Mercy. In 2017, Lisa became the lab manager at CSSC where she oversees the daily operations and finances of this 6-station bioskills lab. The center holds both medical education courses and industry-sponsored courses for residents, fellows, and attending physicians in multiple surgical subspecialties.
