Research Assistant Professor
Meghan K. Wally, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute. Along with Dr. Seymour and Dr. Hsu, she is a co-investigator on a body of research on opioid prescribing and interventions to promote patient safety and pain management. She also oversees the Registry team at the Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute, with responsibility for a variety of external and internal registries. Dr. Wally works closely with orthopaedic surgery residents to conduct research studies, including several studies assessing aspects of graduate medical education. As a Certified Health Education Specialist, she has expertise in education evaluation methods and implementation of educational programs.
