Biography
Dr. Bernard is the lead neuro-endovascular surgeon practicing with Carolinas HealthCare System’s Neurosciences Institute since 2000. He played an integral role in establishing Carolinas Medical Center as the leading Comprehensive Stroke Center in the region. Dr. Bernard also performs minimally invasive spine surgery and enjoys teaching the next generation of neurosurgeons in the residency program.
