Healthcare at the YMCA
As the official community health partner of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Atrium Health is dedicated to supporting wellness and improving access to care in our community. One important part of this partnership is bringing on-site care to YMCA locations in the area.
We offer Carolinas Rehabilitation services at three Y locations in Charlotte, including physical therapy, joint mobilization, video gait analysis and sports performance, among others. One location, the Dowd YMCA, is also home to Atrium Health Primary Care Charlotte Internal Medicine, which provides primary and on-demand care, such as routine physicals, treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, and help to quit smoking.
